When my daughters moved on to college I decided to remake one of the bedrooms into a "listening room".  As you see from the pictures below, I haven't done anything with the walls, window treatment yet so it still has a teenage girl look.

Speakers: Magnepan MMG
Amp: Bada DC-222
Subwoofer: X-Sub (no longer made)
Digital Transport: Squeezbox ReceiverSqueezebox Receiver
Remote: iTouch (1st Gen.) running iPeng

The Squeezebox is Ethernet connected (not wireless to ensure full bandwidth) to an old Dell running in my basement.  I have about 240 CD's.

I'm very satisfied with the combined SqueezeBox and iTouch.  The iTouch provide lots of flexibility beyond simply being a remote for the receiver.  I'm running an iTouch app called iPeng which costs $10 but is well worth it.  Like a Duet Controller, I can use the iTouch both in my listening room and in my home theater where I run SoftSqueeze (emulates a receiver).

Future upgrades: I may add Maggie Mates to remove some of the low frequencies from the MMG's.  At this point it's not a priority as the issue would only start to be a problem if I listend really loud, Google Magnepan Panel Slap to learn more.
